PROJECT BRIEF:

Design a logo for a Nursery and Preschool that is opening in my hometown. The client requested for the logo to include imagery of the Rock of Gibraltar with an overall childlike feeling. 

FONT

When selecting a font, I aimed to find a typeface that captured the playful and fun spirit of the 'Rock Tots' identity. I explored options that felt handwritten, energetic, and childlike, while still maintaining a sense of creativity and boldness. 

Ultimately, I chose 'El Grande' as the primary font for the logo, complemented by 'Bebas Neue SemiRounded Regular' as the secondary logo.

COLOUR PALETTE

The clients brief called for a youthful, bold colour palette that feels playful and full of energy. I explored bright, vibrant hues whilst making sure to keep an underlying sense of calm throughout. The final palette is designed to be flexible, with colours that work just as well on their own as they do in combination. This creates a versatile visual elements that can be mixed and matches across different branding and media, helping to maintain a cohesive yet dynamic and playful identity for the business.
